I know the month is almost over, but you can still make some yummy soup for your pup.
My Dog’s Chicken Soup
3 chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces or unseasoned chicken leftovers
1/4 cup chopped carrots
16 oz of chicken broth (low sodium, best if homemade)
1/2 cup chopped sweet potato
1 cups of water
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 cups brown rice (uncooked)
** Please avoid onion they are poisonous to dogs. Also never give your dog chicken bones.
Put it all the ingredients a crock pot and let it cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Let cool completely to room temperature before severing to your fur kids.
If you would like to sneak a bowl for yourself, seperate a portion to it’s own container and season with salt and herbs to your liking. Leave your dogs plain.
