Opening day, May 10th, at Doggie Cakes went very well and was the result of lots of hard work and planning. We appreciate the visits and patronage of many friends and family on our first day, and the sales efforts of Gigi Nibbler. Gigi’s powers of cuteness are so strong, that if you see her through the window – you have to come in. Google Maps has a nice group of placemarks of dog-friendly parks in the Tampa Bay area. Doggie Cakes is only a seven minute drive from Meadows Park on Larch Lane in New Port Richey. I have mapped the driving directions, in case you would like to stop by after playing. This park has separate fenced play areas for small and big dogs. April was a busy month at Doggie Cakes as we painted, cleaned, ordered fixtures, learned about local procedures and permits, and purchased items for the boutique.
