DIY Catnip Toys to Delight Your Feline Friend

  • Fabric scraps (such as felt or cotton)
  • Catnip
  • Sewing needle and thread
  • Scissors
  • Optional: bells, crinkle paper

Instructions:

  1. Cut two identical shapes from your fabric scraps to create the body of the toy (such as a fish, mouse, or heart).
  2. Place the two fabric pieces together with the right sides facing inward.
  3. Sew around the edges, leaving a small opening.
  4. Fill the toy with catnip and any additional fillings such as bells or crinkle paper.
  5. Sew the opening closed, and trim any excess fabric.
  6. Present the toy to your cat and watch them enjoy hours of playtime!
